When and where is the fair?
The fair will take place from February 12 to 13, 2025 , at Idrottscentrum at Halmstad University.

Do you need a ticket?
No, you do not need a ticket to the fair as a visitor. It is a free event for all students!

What opportunities are there for jobs or internships?
Good opportunities! The possibilities vary, of course, depending on the program, year and the type of work you are looking for. Come well prepared to maximize your visit. Read more about what each company is looking for further down the page via the "information about the companies" link.

What industries are represented at the fair? Arbetsmarknadsdagen strives for a diversity of industries, which reflects our commitment to meet the varied interests and career aspirations of all students. We work to include a many industries to ensure that every student finds relevant and inspiring opportunities.

However, it is important to note that the presence of different industries can vary due to many different reasons, such as recruitment needs and economic reasons. We encourage students to keep an open mind and take advantage of the opportunity to explore both familiar and new industries. Even if your specific dream industry may not have a large presence, there are always opportunities to discover unexpected avenues and make connections that can enrich your future career!

How can you prepare?

Coming well prepared can make a big difference to your success. Below we have collected our best tips for how you can prepare in the best way:

Learn about the companies and prepare questions: Find out which companies will be attending and learn about their areas of operation, current projects, company culture and any job opportunities or internships they offer. Think of some questions to ask them!

Prepare an "elevator pitch": A short and concise introduction about yourself that includes your educational background, your interests, and what you are looking for in a company. Practice performing this smoothly and confidently.

Practice interview questions: Even if you won't be undergoing a formal interview at the fair, it can be helpful to be prepared for typical interview questions. This can help you answer clearly and clearly when interacting with employers.

Collect contact information: Have simple contact information ready to hand out. Also collect business cards from the people you meet in order to follow up after the fair. Send a thank you message to the people you talked to. This can be a short email thanking them for their time and expressing your continued interest.
